Congress leader Shekhar Koirala has said that the proposal to remove Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar put forward by the Congress-UML is "unseasonable". Mentioning that he was not aware of the haste to remove Deputy Speaker Rana Magar by the two parties, he said that he maintained his previous position.
"Now the proposal to remove the Deputy Speaker is unseasonable," he said to Ikantipur, "My previous stance remains." He accused the rush to remove the Deputy Speaker instead of solving many problems in the country. Why was there a rush to remove the deputy speaker? I don't understand,' he said.
He mentioned that he received a telephone call from the Congress parliamentary party to sign and said that he was not even told a concrete proposal to be signed. "I asked why it was necessary to sign," he said, "no concrete answer came."
'Congress MPs will use discretion,' he added, 'I have not said anything to any MP.'
