”This is a victory for the youth, a victory for all the people of the region,” he said of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). ”Now there is a zeal to do something and show it.”

During the election, many from the old parties underestimated 54-year-old Rajesh Chaudhary. Some were saying that he could not contest because the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) candidate did not have a strong organization at the local level. Because in the 2079 elections, the RSSSP candidate Suryadev Koirala had secured only 163 votes in this area. Despite this background, this same Chaudhary defeated former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal by a wide margin to victory.
Chaudhary, who comes from a business family, joined the CPN-UML in 2054. In 2074, he joined the Congress and became the district secretary. In 2079, he left the party after not getting a ticket from the Congress.
He also has a business background. In Rautahat-1, he won the flag of victory with 28,946 votes, winning the trust of voters dissatisfied with the working style of the old parties. While his competitor Ajay Gupta of the CPN-UML got 10,693 votes. Anil Jha of the Congress got only 8,574 votes, while Madhav Kumar Nepal of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) got 7,669 votes.
Chaudhary, who runs a bidi industry in the village, has long had the experience of making Rautahat a place of work. He was no stranger to local farmers, farming on about 20/25 bighas of cultivable land. During the election, he had come forward with the message of wanting to connect the voices of the youth of the district to mainstream politics. He said that he had taken forward the local problems of Madhesh, agriculture, education and health, with the good governance and anti-corruption national agenda of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Chaudhary's school friend Jitendra Kumar said that he had always been interested in politics and was very happy with his victory. 'Chowdhary was very interested in politics in school life,' he said, 'This time's victory is not a coincidence. It seems that it will be a great blessing for the youth and the change side.'
Chaudhary said that his main social identity is his commitment to improving the education and health sectors. 'I have made the lack of literacy and quality health services in a district like Rautahat my main issue,' he said, 'This is the victory of the youth, the victory of all the people of the region. Now there is a zeal to do something.'
Chaudhary's closest competitor, Ajay Gupta of UML, has congratulated Chaudhary on his victory. 'I hope that Chaudhary, the newly elected member of the House of Representatives, will do an excellent job as per the expectations of the people of this region,' he said, 'I think he will take the journey of development and prosperity of the entire region further forward.' Winning and losing elections is a natural process.’
