The meeting of the Congress Central Working Committee has concluded that the decision to close the 'platform' of social media will be made only after direct discussion with the government.

In the meeting called by Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba to discuss the process of going to the Election Commission to register a party for the by-elections to be held on 17th November in Manang's provincial constituency (2), the ban on social media was discussed .

According to Joint Chief Minister Jeevan Pariyar, since the party is in the government, it was concluded that the party should make a formal opinion only after having a direct discussion with the Prime Minister about why and on what basis the decision to close the social media was made . In the

meeting, Chairman Deuba said that he was aware that the government had decided not to close the social network but only for the registration process.

Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa and most of the leaders said that social media should be regulated only by making laws and it was difficult for them to work by following the guidelines .

Deuba said that the party should make an opinion only after discussing this with the government. "If Home Minister Ramesh Ulak had been in the meeting, many things would have been clear, an opinion of the party could have come, but he  Being outside the capital, it was not clear why and how the government reached such a decision,' said Pariyar, 'that's why the party had a direct discussion with the government once to make a clear opinion.' He said that the decision to close social networks through guidelines without making laws is the opposite and said that all social networks can be regulated only by making laws. In the

meeting, some members expressed their displeasure that the government suddenly decided to shut down social media without adequate preparation and discussion with the coalition parties.

Congress  Leader Arjun Narasimha KC said that there was a serious discussion about the decision to close social media in that meeting. He said that it is serious to shut down the social media, which has become a means of asking for the blood of hospitalized patients from the employment of millions of youths, and demanded that the party should make a clear opinion about it.

has been registered in many countries. It is the natural job of the government to take social networks to the registration process. However, the directive order given by the Supreme Court is to make laws and organize them. It is objectionable to set aside the law and close it on the basis of guidelines and regulations' KC said, 'Social media has developed as a way of life for every person. Today its users are more than seventy percent. It is unfortunate that the platform for petitioning to be closed when there is bloodshed in the hospital and the Congress should be strongly opposed to it.'

In the meeting, some members were unhappy that the government suddenly decided to close the social network without prior preparation and sufficient discussion with the coalition parties.
