"Please make a vanilla and a chocolate flavored tea!" As soon as the order is taken on one side, another table calls out like this. Since last May 10, a tea shop at Prithvi Narayan Campus Gate in Pokhara is full of customers from morning till evening. The reason for the crowd to drink tea is - tea drinking cups. Because the cup of tea can be eaten, 'Chea Chapau' has attracted the attention of many people.

Like the cup, the story of the start and discussion of this shop is equally interesting. Because of one video, 'Chia Chapau' has gained popularity overnight . However, this is not a tea shop opened for profit. Manju Tiwari, Stuti Thapa, Namrata Paudel and Yanika Bhattarai, who are studying for a bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship at Pokhara University Central Campus, have opened this shop to experiment research. "In the course of studying, we spent 6 months studying the tea business." According to that study, you have to do business for 6 months in the eighth semester,' said Namrata.

The business plan of a new business had to be submitted to the campus in the seventh semester . It was asked to pay attention to two issues. First- Environmentally friendly business . Second- different from the trendy business . After this, a group of four people started looking for a topic of study.

As in Kathmandu, tea shops have started opening in Pokhara with various names. They decided to research the possibilities and problems of tea trade in Pokhara. How to differentiate the tea that others are selling? Four friends set out to find an environmentally friendly and innovative plan. We asked Google for an innovative idea to make a tea shop. An edible cup was found there, Manju said.

Where you can have a cup along with tea In the seventh semester, the research was completed in tea after spending 6 months . Tea was served to the professor by ordering an "edible cup" from India. Half of the work was done after the investigation. Eighth semester has started . According to the research done in the previous semester, I had to do business for 6 months . It was asked to do an experiment to make the students experience the difference between doing research and doing business.

everyone asked at home . Everyone got permission to open a shop as it was a subject of study. Manju was asked by her parents - How can a cup that has not melted in the stomach melt when it is heated to 100 degrees? She informed that cups are made from corn and wheat. After pouring the tea, the life of the "edible cup" is half an hour . If you don't drink tea for half an hour, the cup will melt .

Where you can have a cup along with tea Tea shop to open but where? The aim was to understand the customer's interest and feedback on 'Edible Cup'. Since it was a 6-month business, it didn't need much space. In the beginning, he looked for shutters to do business for 6 months at Zero Kilometer in Pokhara . Didn't find the place you were looking for. After this, they reached Bagar where there is Prithvi Narayan Campus, the largest religious campus of the country under Tribhuvan University. They thought - there is a campus, there is also a crowd, students will definitely come if the students say it is done.

After spending three days searching for Sutter, the name had already been collected . After drinking tea and eating the cup, it was jokingly called 'chewing tea'. Manju told that this name is the reason why there is a lot of customer pressure now. The name Chia Chapau is unique. How many messages are coming asking where the place is now,' she said. Since it is a tea shop opened by students, many students come to drink tea as customers.

Until 'Chia Chapau' opened, four people had no idea that there would be a crowd like now. So they chose a narrow place with only two tables and chairs. On May 10, four people opened the shutter together . Coconut split . After this, 'Chia Chapau' was opened to make school learning practical. On that day, everyone called their family members. Everyone tasted tea. The opening is over . Before going to bed at night, Manju started watching the videos she had taken during the day on her mobile phone. The video was posted on TikTok and Instagram. Captioned - When will you come to chew tea ?

Waking up in the morning and opening the Internet, the notification on the mobile phone was constantly ringing . Manju was confused when she saw unexpected likes, comments and views on Tiktok. There were so many notifications that I got confused myself. The video has gone viral overnight. After seeing that, the content creators themselves came,' she told .

video got 1.2 million views overnight . So far, the video has been viewed 4.7 million times. On May 11, the day when the video went viral, not many customers came. From the next day, the pressure started to be such that the four people stopped having time to eat. The reason for such a crowd is the taste found in the tea, cup and tea . 'Chia Chapau' contains cardamom, chocolate and vanilla flavored tea. This flavor is already mixed in the cup of tea . When the cup is eaten, the taste is found. Those who don't like sweets eat cardamom. Otherwise, the chocolate flavor will be too much," said Namrata, "fathers had to bring sugar free for us diabetics. You have to think about that.'

vanilla flavor tea is priced at Rs 65 per cup, while cardamom and chocolate flavor are priced at Rs 60 each. The research showed that it would be difficult to meet the monthly expenses by selling only tea. That's why they sell noodles, chatpat too . However, the choice of many is tea. Every day at least 50 to 130 groups reach 'Chia Chapau' to drink tea. Manju said that the tea cups are imported from India.

Pokhara University started undergraduate studies in entrepreneurship development after Covid-19. 31 people were admitted in the first batch . Coming to the eighth semester, there are 21 . At the beginning, it was thought that the four people who now open 'Chia Chapau' have been read in vain. Now when he understood about entrepreneurship, became an entrepreneur himself, he understood the importance of studying this subject . ``We read this topic with Sir, we used to get angry that we can't even get a job now . Reading and doing are different. But now it's okay,' said Namrata.

What happens after 6 months of 'chewing tea'? Not all four have an answer to this question . They plan to spend 6 months studying and only then decide whether to continue.
