It is said that a digital system will be developed to make agricultural services accessible and transparent. He said that by making subsistence agriculture modern and professional, mechanization and specialization will be done to make the country self-sufficient in agricultural produce.
It is mentioned in the policy and program that the Madhyapahari highways and corridors will be made economic routes based on green business. Raithane crops, seeds, breeds and conservation of agricultural biodiversity will be prioritized, agricultural produce distribution storage and consumption style will be promoted as an integral part of nutrition, it is said in the program. Upgradation of quarantine and laboratory services, restructuring of Nepal Agricultural Research Council and making it farmer-friendly and result-oriented are mentioned in the program. President Paudel said that the commercialization of agriculture and the construction of infrastructure will be done through cooperation, coordination and collaboration between the three levels of government.
