Janakpur Bolts will field first in Monday's match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket. Champion Janakpur captain Anil Sah won the toss and invited Biratnagar Kings to bat at the Tribhuvan University Cricket International Stadium in Kirtipur.

Biratnagar has made a great start by winning both its first two matches. The team defeated Biratnagar Avengers and Kathmandu Gorkhas in the first two matches. Janakpur, on the other hand, was shocked by Gorkhas in the first match.

Janakpur has replaced Bikash Agri with Aditya Mahata and Lahiru Samarakun with Sangeeth Kore from the team that played the previous match. There have been no changes in Biratnagar's team.

Last year, when Janakpur started its journey to the title, it easily defeated Biratnagar by 8 wickets in the opening match. Despite Martin Guptill's half-century, Biratnagar was all out for 127 runs in 19 overs. Lahiru Milantha scored 75 runs in 53 balls, while Janakpur scored 131 runs in 15.3 overs.

After Janakpur did not get a Test quota, the performance of the champion team could not match that in the first match after star all-rounder Jimmy Neesam left for Pokhara.
