Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Sobita Gautam has been elected to the House of Representatives from Chitwan-3 with 59,277 votes. Her nearest rival, NCP candidate Renu Dahal, has secured 20,615 votes. Sobita was elected with a margin of 38,662 votes.

In Chitwan-3, Congress's Tek Prasad Gurung got 8,344 votes and UML's Shankar Thapaliya got 5,04 votes. In 2079, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate Bikram Pandey won the House of Representatives seat by securing 35,600 votes. This time, RPP candidate Deepak Thapa Magar got only 1,226 votes. One lakh 53 votes were cast here.
