Initial estimates suggest that around 65 percent of the votes have been cast in Morang. According to Assistant Chief District Officer Koirala, preparations are underway to begin counting of votes from tonight after the ballot boxes from all constituencies have been delivered to the offices of the concerned election officers.

Arrangements have been made to count votes in all six constituencies of Morang at different locations. Counting of votes in Constituency No. 1 will be held at the Urlabari Municipality Office, Urlabari, while that of Constituency No. 2 will be held at the Bishwanath Temple, Sijuwa. Similarly, counting of votes in Constituency No. 3 will be held at Bhagwati Secondary School, Belbari.

Preparations have been made to count votes in Constituency No. 4 at Janata Namuna Secondary School, Biratnagar, Constituency No. 5 at the Sunsari-Morang Irrigation Project Office, Biratnagar, and Constituency No. 6 at Adarsh ​​Secondary School, Biratnagar.
