Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) President Ravi Lamichhane has said that the court process should be respected even though unwanted charges have been filed against him. Lamichhane, who arrived in Chitwan from Janakpur via Parsa, said this while talking to reporters at Bharatpur Airport on Wednesday afternoon while returning to Kathmandu.

He said that the court process should be respected and accepted no matter what, saying, "There have been accusations made by making unnecessary allegations. But there is no alternative to the court. This process should be respected."

Lamichhane also said that having many cases against him would make him mentally unstable. He said, "You should not make wrong comments about the court. It is not good for court debates to come to the streets." He also said that he is living with hope and trust in the court.

In response to a question from journalists about the election, he said that the result should be accepted regardless of the outcome, saying, "Let the competition be healthy. No political party should engage in provocative and inciting activities."

Lamichhane, who is contesting the election from Chitwan-2, also said that he is committed to making the entire Chitwan a place of celebration. He said, "Chitwan has given encouraging signals right from the start."
