Congress' Chunna Prasad Poudel has filed his candidacy in Rupandehi-2.

Poudel has registered his candidacy at the election office in Butwal Sub-metropolitan City-11. Poudel, who is also a representative of the Congress General Convention, is a successful businessman from Butwal.

In Rupandehi-2, Vice President and former Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel, who has been winning continuously from UML since 2064, Sulabh Kharel from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Subash Pandey from the NCP are registering their candidacies.

According to Election Officer Rajendra Neupane, so far, 22 people have filed their candidacies from Rupandehi-2, including Pandey from the Nepali Communist Party, Narayan Nagina from the Pralopa, Karbika Thapa from the RPP, and Swatantra.
