Candidates from most parties have registered their nominations in Rupandehi-3 for the February 21 election to the House of Representatives.

Major parties from the constituency, including Congress, UML, CPN, RPP, RSVP, Janamat, LSP, and others, have completed their nominations by Tuesday afternoon.

Gopal Bhandari and JB Gupta have registered independent candidacies from Rupandehi-3. Both were previously close to the RSVP.

Congress candidate Sushil Gurung registered his candidacy in Rupandehi-3 this afternoon. Some time before that, Basudev Ghimire from UML, Lekhjung Thapa from RSVP, and Faiz Ahmed Khan from Nepali Communist Party had registered their candidacies.

Gaurab, the eldest son of late leader Deepak Bohra, registered his candidacy from RPP on Tuesday afternoon.
Earlier, Deepak Bohra had defeated former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan in Rupandehi-3. The constituency was vacant after Bohra's death. The RPP has fielded veteran pilot Gaurav from the constituency where his father is contesting.

The nomination process began at 10 am on Tuesday. The parties in the constituency were allotted time for nominations by scheduling them until 5 pm. As requested by the Election Commission, all the parties reached the office of the Chief Electoral Officer for the nominations in a peaceful manner.
