Deepan Kumar Shrestha of the Nepali Congress and Mingma Sherpa of the National Independent Party have registered their candidacies in Sankhuwasabha.

Both candidates had reached the office of the Chief Electoral Officer with a procession from their party offices to register their candidacies.

Uma Rai from the Shram Sanskriti Party and Rajkumar Laghlu from the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party have also registered their candidacies for the Falgun 21 elections in Sankhuwasabha.

Similarly, Devend Ghale from the National Mongol Organization and Pushpa Bahadur Koirala from the CPN-Maoist have registered their candidacies.

21 parties are active in Sankhuwasabha. The Chief Electoral Officer's office has stated that other parties are continuing to come to register their candidacies.
