Sudhan Gurung and Kavindra Burlakoti are the candidates from the National Independent Party (NISP) in Gorkha-1 and Gorkha-2, respectively.
Gurung of Nagchet in Chumanubri-3 Sirdiwas is the leader of the Gen-G movement. He joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Sunday.
Similarly, Burlakoti of Palungtar Municipality-9 was also a candidate in the 2079 BS elections. Burlakoti, who competed with the then CPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, came second in 2079 BS by getting 12,639 votes.
