Prime Minister Sushila Karki arrived in Butwal on Friday evening to understand the election atmosphere and prepare the necessary security strategy. Prime Minister Karki had held discussions with the heads of Gandaki provincial-level security agencies in Pokhara on Friday, seeking information on election preparations, sensitivities and necessary strategies. A discussion has been scheduled for Saturday morning in Butwal with the heads of Lumbini provincial-level security agencies, security personnel deployed in the election, and stakeholders.

The Prime Minister's Press Coordinator Ram Bahadur Rawal said that the Prime Minister arrived in Butwal as per the schedule of his study and inspection to study and inspect the overall election environment, increase the morale of security personnel and employees deployed in the election, deliver the government's election message to the grassroots level, and prepare an environment for conducting the election in a fair and fearless environment. "We have arrived in Butwal after completing the Gandaki province-level inspection and discussion including Mustang on Friday," he said. Earlier, Prime Minister Karki had visited Solukhumbu, Taplejung, Bhojpur, Itahari and other districts of Koshi Province and returned after studying election preparations, and preparations are underway to reach other provinces as well. Rawal informed that Prime Minister Karki will stay at the Nepal Army's Mid-Western Division office in Butwal on Friday and will return to Kathmandu after completing the discussion on Saturday.
