The printing of ballot papers for 155 constituencies in 67 districts for the upcoming House of Representatives elections has been completed. According to Kul Bahadur GC, Assistant Spokesperson of the Election Commission, 19.124 million ballot papers have been printed and are ready for transportation to date.
He said that the ballot papers of the remaining 10 districts have also been printed, but the packing is still pending. Now, only 1.199 million ballot papers remain to be printed.
So far, Dolpa, Mugu, Jumla, Kalikot, Humla, Jajarkot, Dailekh, Rukum (western part), Salyan, Surkhet, Bajura, Achham, Bajhang, Doti, Dadeldhura, Darchula, Baitadi, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Panchthar, Ilam, Tehrathum, Bhojpur, Okhaldhunga, Sunsari, Taplejung, Sankhuwasabha, Solukhumbu, Khotang, Dhankuta, Baglung, Gulmi, Jhapa, Gorkha, Myagdi, Parbat, Bardaghat Susta West (Nawalparasi), Morang, Udayapur, Mustang, Lamjung, Tanahun, Syangja, Bardiya, Rukum East, Dang, Banke, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East), Palpa, Arghakhanchi, Pyuthan, Rupandehi, Rolpa, Manang, The ballot papers of 67 districts including Ramechhap, Sindhuli, Rasuwa, Sindhupalchowk, Kaski, Kapilvastu, Dolakha, Nuwakot, Kavrepalanchowk, Dhading, Makawanpur, Chitwan and Siraha have been printed and prepared for transportation.
Till Saturday, the ballot papers of 66 districts had been printed, packed and kept ready for transportation. Today, the commission has stated that the ballot papers of one more district have been printed, packed and kept ready for transportation.
Now, it is said that only the ballot papers of the districts around the Kathmandu Valley remain to be printed. It is said that the ballot papers will be printed, packed and kept ready for transportation in two days. So far, 17,728 boxes of ballot papers have been packed.

The commission started sending printed ballot papers from Friday. In the first phase, ballot papers were sent to Karnali. The commission has also said that ballot papers have been sent to Gandaki, Lumbini and remote districts of Sudurpaschim Province. Ballot papers are yet to be sent to urban areas and accessible districts.
