The Election Commission has registered 1,214 candidates across the country as of 3 pm on Tuesday.

The number of nominations submitted by parties and independents for the House of Representatives elections to be held on 21 Falgun has increased. So far, 659 candidacies have been verified and 555 nominations are in the process of being verified.

According to the data so far, the highest number of candidacies has been registered in Kathmandu-3. 14 people have registered their candidacies in Kathmandu-3.
