At least 55 people lost their lives in the latest monsoon disaster.  The highest number of deaths due to landslides occurred in Ilam. In two days, 38 people have died and 1 person is missing due to landslides in Ilam.

According to the Armed Police Force, 3 people each died in Rautahat and Udaipur, 2 people each in Panchthar, Kavre and Khotang. .

Similarly, 1 person each died in Sindhupalchok, Morang, Sunsari, Mahottari and Sindhuli. The details of the death of 61 people, including 6 people who died in a jeep accident in Panchthar on Saturday, have been released by the Armed Forces on Monday evening.
