Education, Science and Technology Minister Mahavir Pun has requested to keep the residents living around the river in schools and colleges.

Minister Pun has requested to keep the residents who are at risk around the river in schools and colleges due to the incessant rain since Friday night.

Posting on social media on Saturday, Minister Pun has requested to provide space to schools and colleges for temporary accommodation until the flood recedes.

He has written on social media-'...there is a great possibility that the flood will displace the residents living near the Bagmati river, so they have to make temporary arrangements to stay until the flood recedes, so it is a humble request that the schools and colleges in that area provide space.'
