Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's residence in Damak municipality was pelted with stones. Protesters pelted stones at Oli's residence in Damak. The police fired a few rounds in the air to bring the situation under control.
Protesters have also blocked the east-west highway by burning tires. From the campus gate to the Tea Dokan, three places have been lit with tires. The highway has been blocked for about half an hour.
Earlier, around 10 people were injured in the clash between protesters and police in Damak. Similarly, the police are also firing at Birtamod.
On Monday afternoon, after the protest and arson in front of the Damak Municipality office, the protestors were heading towards Prime Minister Oli's residence.
