Stages were being prepared on both sides of the rice mill grounds of Gaur, the headquarters of Rautahat. Leaders-activists of the Maoists in the north and the Madhesi People's Rights Forum in the south were busy building the platform. On the platform of the forum, there was a bit of chaos, but it was typical of the Maoists.
On the afternoon of Chait 7, 2063, both parties started gathering people for the meeting. A procession of forum workers carrying bamboo sticks in their hands reached the event venue at 11 am. The Maoists also started a city tour and rally at 2 pm. The Maoists, who entered the ground after going around the city, became aggressive after seeing their platform destroyed and went towards the forum. There was a fierce clash between the two. 27 Maoists including 5 women were killed in this clash. Tribhuwan Sah is one of the 42 injured people.
50-year-old Sah who lives in Boudhimai Municipality-8 cannot live in one place properly now. He has injuries on his back and legs. During the clash that day, bamboo sticks were thrown at him several times. Kuderai saved his life . At the same speed, he directly reached Gaur Hospital . He was treated there. When he sees his friends falling before his eyes, he says that he thinks that he will not survive. "I don't want to remember that horrible incident," he said, "After 18 years, hope for justice has been raised."
After the Supreme Court issued an injunction to proceed with the investigation against the persons registered in the Gaur murder case, including the president of Janata Samajwadi Nepal, Upendra Yadav, there is hope in Sah . The joint bench of Justices Til Prasad Shrestha and Nityanand Pandey gave the mandate last Monday. He is the one who registered the writ in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court's mandate to proceed with the investigation of Upendra Yadav in the Gaur murder
incident, Sah said that he has been running to Kathmandu and home district Rautahat continuously since 2064 for justice after seeing that it was a 'dirty joke' in the name of investigation. 'I rushed to submit a memorandum to the chief district officer, a sit-in rally and a memorandum to the prime minister and home minister in Kathmandu to investigate the truth of the Gaur incident. In the meantime, lakhs of loans were incurred,'' he said, 'it is a matter for the state to understand that such a big incident should be investigated . It is surprising to see the district police keeping silent after registering a complaint.'
Even though the police are being dishonest about the above order, he was confident that one day the court will order an investigation. After the Gaur massacre, 24 chiefs (SPs) have been changed in the district police . But they did not want to take the name of the investigation of the file in which the duty death case was registered as being involved in the incident . Most of the SPs had the same tone- no above order .
In the year 2060, Shah was arrested underground by the security forces from Sirsia in Rautahat . His father Manoj Sah passed away while he was being held in Gaur custody. He has lost his mother Jamunidevi in 2056. He told that when he was an orphan and had spent his whole life in politics, he was injured and asked for justice, and the situation became critical. Sah, who is in poor financial condition, has a daughter.
Mrs. Rupsagar Upadhyay is supporting Sah to bring justice to 40-year-old Nardheshwar Upadhyay of Sabik Sarmujwa-6 of Rautahat who was killed in this incident. He is also the coordinator of Gaur massacre committee. Rupsagar said that even though it was late, the door to the investigation was finally opened.
After the Supreme Court gave a mandate to bring out the investigation report of this incident which has been engulfed in political confusion and to investigate the accused, there is now a little hope in the families of the injured and the deceased including Shah. In the incident, an investigation
is going to be conducted on 130 people including Upendra Yadav, the president of the then Forum (currently Jaspa Nepal). Gaur murder case: 130 people including Upendra Yadav (these are the accused) in the "radar" of the investigation On behalf of the families of the deceased, Rupsagar Upadhyay, Rupaiya Khatun, Vikram Patel and the injured Tribhuwan Sah approached the Supreme Court on 18th May 2080 seeking justice. Now, according to the complaint given by the victim and the report of the National Human Rights Commission, the investigation will proceed against them.
The family of the deceased in the Gaur massacre has received a compensation of 10 lakhs from the state . But the family reached the Supreme Court saying that there was no investigation and no action was taken against the culprits. Against 113 people for being involved in the incident The complaint filed with the district police demanding action was registered on 28 Baisakh 2064 after 51 days. The district police has registered a complaint in the duty killing case and has kept it in custody for 18 years saying that there is no above order.
