The Pokhara Regional International Airport Office reported that the plane of Solar Airlines, callsign 9N-AME, had an accident while coming to Pokhara for maintenance.
According to Jasoda Subedi, Spokesperson of Pokhara Regional International Airport Office, the airline company took permission to keep it in Pokhara's hangar for maintenance.
'The ship took permission to be repaired in a hangar in Pokhara,' spokeswoman Subedi told Kantipur.
Soon after taking off from Kathmandu, Sourya's plane crashed near the runway of Tribhuvan International Airport. Preliminary information has been received that all the crew members and employees of Solar Airlines were on board. Solar Airlines does not fly regularly from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Pilot Manisharatna Shakya has been rescued by the police and taken to the hospital.
