Rajkishore Mahato (51 years old), a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) candidate from Dhanusha Bateshwor Rural Municipality-3, who made a leap into politics by becoming a teacher, has won by a wide margin from Dhanusha Constituency No. 4. 

Mahato won by getting 48,270 votes. His opponent, Mahendra Yadav of the Nepali Congress, was defeated by getting 15,809 votes. The winning candidate, Mahato, who is the Managing Director of Wave Pharma Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., started his career in teaching. 

Mahato, who taught mathematics and science, left the teaching profession after 4 years. He taught at Buddha Secondary School in Goli, Solukhumbu for 2 years. After that, he worked as an MR (medical salesman) for a long time. Mahato, who worked as a frontliner in COVID-19, is also the chairman of Kabir Foundation Nepal. 

In the 2079 general election, Mahato was a candidate for the Provincial Assembly from 2 of Dhanusha Constituency No. 4 from JSP Nepal. He was defeated in that election by about 8,000 votes. 

Mahato, who graduated in management, participated in the distribution of relief through Child Care Foundation Nepal during the 2072 earthquake. Mahato's eldest son, Abhishek Singh, said that he received immense love from the voters due to his social service, his habit of stepping forward and helping when faced with problems.
