Pushkarnath Acharya, the candidate of the Progressive Democratic Party of Arghakhanchi-1, has withdrawn his candidacy for the House of Representatives election to be held on 21 Falgun.
He issued a statement on Monday and announced that he has withdrawn his candidacy.
Acharya, who had been walking around the village seeking votes from voters after nominating his candidacy, said that he has withdrawn his candidacy as the upcoming elections cannot be held smoothly due to the current situation in the country.
He has appealed to the voters of Pralopa to vote with their conscience. He said that his vote will be for good governance, prosperity, progress and social justice.
