Sugam wanted to be a hero. He also acted in a teleserial when he was young, but that act made him realize that he was not born to be an actor. That feeling inspired him to pursue a career in music. Born and brought up in Biratnagar, Sugam was deeply influenced by Indian music from childhood. Buoyed by the overwhelming success of the first album, Sugam soon released a second album in 2060. His singing journey, which started from zero, had started hitting the highway by the time of his second album. In this way, the name of the album was also changed, 'Highway'. 'Kati Din Bite' and 'Maya Yo Very Hard' from this album, which contains 10 songs, went well. After the success of three albums, many people started asking Sugam, 'What is the next journey?' Sugam felt that since he came to Kathmandu, his journey was becoming 'Sugam' like his name. And the name of the fourth album was also chosen, 'Sugam Yatra'. Among the songs of this album released in 2064, 'Samhalinha Kehbi Mann' and 'Mannko Rani' created a wave in pop singing again.
