The Government of Nepal published a notice in the 'Nepal Gazette' on 29th of February 2079 saying that it has been decided to declare martyrs for the 'armed struggle and revolution for the national interest, democracy and progressive change of Nepal'. The name of Sant Bahadur Chepang is at number 84 and Dashrath Chepang is at number 85 of the Chitwan section of the gazette.
