It has reiterated that Pakistan is responsible for the attack on April 22 in Pahalgam in Kashmir.

In a press briefing held in New Delhi on Thursday, Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri reiterated India's position of holding the Resistance Front (TRF) responsible for the Pahalgam attack.

He said that the TRF is the front of the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group in Pakistan and it has been declared a terrorist group by the United Nations.

India launched an attack on Pakistan on Wednesday morning as a response to the attack that killed 26 tourists in Pahalgam on 22 April. The Indian Ministry of Defense claims that the attackers will be held accountable by the action called 'Operation Sindoor'.

But Pakistan has been denying that it has allowed any group to use its soil to attack India.
