The list of top 50 influencers (influential people) who earn the most through social media has been released. This list was published by Forbes magazine based on an analysis of details including expected gross income, follower numbers, engagement rates and entrepreneurial efforts of thousands of people who are working online.

 

The list is topped by content creators like Dixie and her sister Charlie DeMelios, comedian Matt Rife, YouTuber Jake Paul, makeup guru Mikaela Nugera, podcast host Alex Cooper, ticket-taker Khabi Lam, among others. In the top row of content creators, the same name has been repeating continuously for the last three years - Mr. Beast. Jimmy Donaldson, who is known as Mr. Beast in the world of social media, is seen as the number one influencer with the most followers and the highest earning.

According to Forbes, Mr. Beast earned 85 million dollars (about 11 billion 47 lakh rupees) in 2024. He has more than 500 million followers on various social media platforms. He is also the most followed person on social media. Mr. Beast's main YouTube channel alone has more than 320 million subscribers, and last year his videos totaled over 9 billion views.

Mr. Beast has earned millions of views by making videos of 'weird-weird' stunts such as spending a week in a coffin underground, climbing the Burj Khalifa, eating Bademan's pizza in one go, and chewing a living scorpion. He has also created his own brand of clothing and candy bars called Fistable which are very popular. He often gives valuable and unique prizes to his fans and video contest participants. By recreating the famous 'Squid Game' of OTT platform Netflix, he gave the prize of 500,000 dollars to the winner. In one video, he and his boys staged a theatrical performance of robbing a bank and distributed a whole million dollars to their YouTube subscribers. 

Some of Mr. Beast's activities in the video have become controversial. Several cases have been filed against him. Some people have been suspecting tax evasion in the lavish gifts given by him, while he has been criticized for doing gimmicks more than necessary to increase engagement in the videos. Recently, some contestants have even filed a lawsuit regarding the unsafe conditions during the filming of 'Beast Games' made by him for Amazon Prime. Mr. Beast has not yet responded to this matter. 

Likewise, number two in Forbes' list of top 50 influencers is American entrepreneur and filmmaker Dhar Mann. Last year, he earned $45 million through partnerships with brands like Google Adsense and WhatsApp, Universal, and Social Point. According to Forbes, he has 120 million followers on social media. He bullied, 

makes YouTube videos on common problems faced by young people, such as family conflicts and career problems, which are very popular. He is considered to be good at making videos with attractive and clear messages suitable for young people who are looking for positivity. "From the beginning, my goal was to help people who were going through difficult times," Mann told Forbes.

Comedian Matt Rife, who went viral on Tik Tok in 2022, has been ranked third in the list of famous influencers. His annual income is $50 million and his followers on social media are 30.4 million. The popularity of social media has led to an influx of audiences to his stand-up shows. Among the most popular

influencers, Ticketkar Charlie DiMelio, who once came to number one, has reached number four this time. In 2021, at the age of 18, she became the highest-paid influencer due to her dancing skills. She also appears in commercials for products including Garnier. Charlie has started a footwear business with her older sister Dixie. Dixie is also ranked sixth in the list of famous influencers.

air on CyrusXM. Famous on Spotify, she has hinted that she will enter the mainstream media by hosting the Paris Olympics this year through the NBC channel. In the past one year, she has earned more than 20 million dollars and is ranked eighth in the Forbes list. At number nine is the comedian's rate and link. Their 'Good Mythical Morning' is popular on YouTube. The income of these two last year was three and a half million dollars.

Likewise, Ticketkar Khabi Lem is at number ten with an annual income of $20 million. He has 260 million followers on social media. Khabi, also known as the Charlie Chaplin of digital media, is also the most followed person on TikTok (170 million). He was a simple laborer in Turin, Italy before he became famous for reacting to memes and viral trends without speaking. Currently famous brands like Hugo Bus, Fortnite, Sony Pictures, Walmart have partnered with him. "I never want to promote alcohol companies, cigarettes or anything harmful, because I have a huge following of kids," Khabi told Forbes.

Currently, the influencer industry of 250 billion dollars is projected by Goldman Sachs to grow to 500 billion dollars within three years. With the increasing use and influence of social media, the income and discussion of such influencers is not only increasing, but also the influence is expanding in social, economic and political issues. According to Forbes, it can be assumed that such influencers will be added to social content in the coming days, moving from the business and entertainment of goods and services.
