Before that he had won all the battles. Napoleon, born on August 15, 1769, was a French soldier and political leader. He gained fame for his success in the later French Revolution and related wars.
He was Emperor of France for the first time as Napoleon I from May 18, 1804 to April 6, 1814, and for the second time from March 20, 1815 to June 22, 1814. He died on May 5, 1821.
