Khemraj Koirala has won the House of Representatives from Kailali-4. Koirala, who has extensive experience in education, social services and agricultural enterprises, has now assumed the responsibility of representing the people of this region in the federal parliament.

Born in 2033 in Mangalpur, Gauriganga, Koirala is a teacher and farmer by profession. Filled with diverse experience, he was not affiliated with any party before. Having passed SLC with first class from Panchami Secondary School in Dhangadhi, he graduated from Kailali Multiple Campus in English and Economics. After that, he did his master's degree in rural development from Mahendra Multiple Campus.

Having studied double major in English from Kumaun University, India, he is currently studying in the final year of LLB at Mahendra Multiple Campus. Koirala has spent about 24 years in the teaching profession. Having worked in the education sector for a long time, he has also played a role as a central member of PABSON, an organization of private school operators.

Along with this, he has also been active in the social sector. A member of the Lions Club of Gauriganga, he has been actively participating in various social campaigns and community programs. Along with his teaching career, he has also gained experience in foreign employment. He has experience of working in South Korea for about two years.

Koirala, who returned to his country after being abroad to do something, started an enterprise in the agricultural sector. He has been cultivating commercial bananas on his own 6 bighas of land and is also a generous person who can connect agricultural potential with employment.

Koirala has made education reform, employment for the youth, agricultural modernization, drug control and good governance his main priorities. He believes that farmers need market assurance, use of modern technology and empowerment of cooperatives to strengthen the agricultural sector. Similarly, he had committed to taking strong policy initiatives to control the growing drug problem due to open borders, and to conduct awareness and rehabilitation programs for the youth. Now the people of Kailali-4 have elected him to make all those plans a success.

Time will tell how his commitment to promoting good governance by ensuring a transparent budget system and direct accountability of people's representatives will be fulfilled. But Koirala, who has long experience in the fields of education, social services and local development, has now gained the trust of voters to address the expectations of the people of Kailali-4 in the federal parliament.
