Rohit took 3 consecutive wickets in the 11th over of the final match at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur on Saturday. He dismissed Dipendra Singh Airi, Deepak Bohra and Puneet Mehra in consecutive balls.
Sudurpaschim captain Dipendra scored 13 runs in 20 balls while Deepak and Puneet were dismissed in the first ball they faced. Lumbini has completely controlled the game after Rohit's brilliant bowling spell. Sudurpaschim is in a miserable position of 46 runs after losing 6 wickets at the end of 12 overs.
This is only the second hat-trick wicket in the NPL. Kathmandu Gorkhaz's Shahab Alam took wickets in 3 consecutive balls against Pokhara Avengers in the same tournament.
