According to the latest voting results in Jhapa-5, senior leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Balendra Shah has received 28,152 votes while UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has received 7,393 votes. There is a difference of 2,759,000 votes between them.

Similarly, Mandhara Chimaria of the Nepali Congress has received 824 votes while Ranjit Tamang of the Nepali Communist Party has received 736 votes. Similarly, Laxmi Prasad Sangraula of the RPP has received 662 votes.
