According to the latest results, Balendra is more than three times ahead of Oli by more than 100 votes. According to the results released by the Election Commission, Balendra has secured 59,568 votes while Oli has secured 16,350 votes. Which is 43,218 votes more than Oli.
Oli had won in 2079 by defeating Khagendra Pandav Adhikari of the Nepali Congress by a margin of 28,576 votes. At that time, Oli had secured 52,319 votes. His nearest competitor, Adhikari of the Nepali Congress, had secured 23,743 votes.
