Sachin Timalsena, the Congress candidate for the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-4, has made his affidavit public. Congress leaders and workers, including candidate Timalsena, made the affidavit public at a program organized in Maitidevi on Monday.

The pledge has presented 10 key achievements to be achieved within five years as performance standards. 

Candidate Timal Sena has included good governance in the first pledge, infrastructure development in the second, land reform and agricultural sector promotion in the third, health sector reform in the fourth, and entrepreneurship and employment and information technology development in the fifth.

Similarly, the sixth pledge includes education sector reform, the seventh pledge includes religious and cultural heritage and clean environment, climate justice and natural resource conservation, the eighth pledge includes ensuring gender equality and social justice, the ninth pledge includes resolving sectoral issues, and the tenth pledge includes a special shared pledge for the Kathmandu Valley. Two pledges have been made public based on local issues for areas within Budhanilkantha and Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

They have also included plans to improve roads, traffic management, sidewalks and alternative transportation, and to classify and resolve unorganized settlements in the Kapan area under land reform.

This time, the 33-year-old Timalsena has become the Congress candidate from this constituency, where Gagan Thapa has been elected in the previous three elections.
