Indicating that efforts are being made to revive the parliament, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) President Ravi Lamichhane has said that he will not accept any maneuvers, pressure, or threats to bring back the old parliament that was overthrown by the popular uprising in a conspiratorial manner.

Writing a long status on the social media Facebook, he said that some parties have tried to form an alliance before the election, and wrote, "I have an open request - whatever is still to be formed, unite. Openly unite or secretly unite, as and when an alliance is to be formed, do it. Use your last strength and stop this tsunami and show it, we will accept the results of the vote."

Lamichhane also wrote that no one should cry out that they are populist, without vision, without policies and principles. He wrote, "How long will we bear the burden of not following the spirited analysts who read the most clearly written RSVP documents? Your intentions, efficiency, who are said to have all the ideas, principles, and policies, have been seen, please don't show them anymore, don't teach them." He wrote that none of us have the right to stop the speed of history by asking where I am and what will happen to me, "I am absolutely ready for more sacrifices and harsher austerity for the revolution that will change the future of this country. I don't care on which page of history my name is written or erased.'
