The CPN (UML) has nominated former National Assembly member Chakra Prasad Snehi as its candidate in Dadeldhura for the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21. His name was finalized at a party secretariat meeting held on Saturday.
Earlier, the UML district committee had also recommended Snehi as a candidate for the House of Representatives. Along with her, the names of central member Pathansingh Bohara and Constituent Assembly member Gyanu Gaire were also recommended.
UML has formally moved forward with the election preparations by putting Snehi forward for the House of Representatives elections. Snehi is a leader who has previously represented parliament as a member of the National Assembly.
