The Nepali Communist Party has finalized its candidates for both constituencies in Gulmi. The party finalized its candidates for Gulmi-1 and 2 on Sunday.

Former Lumbini Province Minister and then Lumbini Province Coordinator of the Maoist Center Sudarshan Baral will enter the fray in Constituency No. 1. He is currently a central member of the Nepali Communist Party.

Youth leader Shriram Mahat has become a candidate in Constituency No. 2. Mahat is a leader of the then CPN Unified Socialist Party. He is currently a central member of the Nepali Communist Party.

Nepali Communist Party central member Yubaraj KC said that the candidates for both constituencies have been finalized.

Nepali Communist Party central member Buddhi GC said that a new party has been formed by various components and there is a special enthusiasm when there is a young candidate.

There are 122,186 voters in Gulmi-1. There are 177,363 voters in Gulmi-2. While the CPN-UML had previously fielded Pradeep Gyawali as a candidate in Gulmi-1, Gokarna Bista has been fielded as a candidate in Gulmi-2.
