We will include all Congress workers: Gagan Thapa

Gagan Thapa, a leader in favor of a special general convention of the Nepali Congress, has said that in the special circumstances, the party will move forward by selecting leadership through a special general convention and including all Congress workers.

Addressing the closed session of the special general convention, he made it clear that the party would be moved forward with patience. He said that since he stands for truth, the Election Commission, the Constitution and the law will officially recognize this Congress.

He said, 'This is the Congress that stands for truth. We should not be afraid of anyone. The Nepali Congress and we should maintain our own dignity. Do not make negative comments about anyone on social media.'

Giving a message of party unity after the election, Thapa said, 'After the election is over, we will definitely go to seek the blessings of Sher Bahadur Deuba.'

He also claimed that the establishment party could not confuse the Congress workers.

'The attempt to confuse the workers across the country by entangling us in the hall and going to the Election Commission will not succeed,' he said, 'I urge all my friends to be patient.'
