For the special general convention scheduled to be held on the 27th and 28th, the Public Mobilization and Procession Management Committee has designated six gathering locations for delegates from the districts.
The committee has issued a press release and allocated the places where the representatives from which districts will gather.
The committee has designated Sundhara, Ratnapark, Padmakanya Campus, Padmodaya-Shankardev Campus, Kamalpokhari and Kupandol as the gathering places. The press release has asked them to gather at the designated places and reach the convention venue, Bhrikutimandap.
Even when the establishment party is not ready, Congress General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwaprakash Sharma have taken the decision to hold a special convention. The Central Working Committee meeting held last Friday concluded that the rationale for the special convention has ended.
In the petition submitted on 29 Asoj, it was demanded that a special convention should be held only if the regular convention is not held on time. However, the establishment party argues that the rationale for the special convention has ended after the schedule for the regular convention was made public on 15 Mangesh.
