After uniting with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the Ujjaya Nepal Party has withdrawn the list of proportional representation candidates for the House of Representatives that it submitted to the Election Commission.
Ujjaya Nepal Party Chairman Anup Kumar Upadhyay had reached the commission to withdraw the list immediately after the merger.
He said, 'Now we have come to withdraw the proportional closed list submitted to the commission. We had already submitted the proportional closed list.'
As per the agreement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the Ujjaya Nepal Party has got 18 proportional candidates.
