The Election Commission has stated that there is no need to hesitate to vote in the upcoming elections to be held on February 21.

This was stated by Election Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai on Friday, amid speculation that the government has not yet made the necessary security arrangements to hold the election on time.

Spokesperson Bhattarai said that the Election Commission is working with the government to make reliable and credible security arrangements for the election. He also said that there is no need to be afraid of voting or hesitate to vote due to security reasons.

Spokesperson Bhattarai also said that the necessary strategy has been formulated to reduce invalid votes in the upcoming election. He said, 'Work is being done under the leadership of the security agencies and with the facilitation of the concerned ministry and the Commission to make reliable and credible security arrangements for the election.'
