In Gulmi, only six members of the establishment party, including Congress central member Chandra Bahadur KC, are opposed to the special general convention.

48 out of 54 delegates from Gulmi have left for Kathmandu to participate in the Nepali Congress Special General Convention. Earlier, 46 people had signed for the special general convention, and two more delegates have been added, bringing the total to 48 delegates who have gone to participate in the special general convention program.

 

The number of delegates from Gulmi participating in the general convention called by Congress General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwaprakash Sharma as per the statute has reached 48, said Congress Gulmi President Khildhwaj Panthi. This is 88.88 percent of the total delegates.

The non-establishment party is dominant in the Gulmi Congress. However, the convention delegates who were previously called the establishment party have also gone to Kathmandu for the special general convention. In Gulmi, only 6 members of the establishment party, including Congress central member Chandra Bahadur KC, are against the special general convention.

District party president Khildhwaj Panthi, vice president Anantaram Poudel, secretary Bhagat Singh Khadka and other convention delegates are in favor of the special general convention in the Congress. Similarly, Dron Bahadur Khatri, head of the District Coordination Committee Gulmi, is also in favor of the special general convention.

There are a total of 55 general convention representatives in two regions from Gulmi. Out of which, in region number 1, there are 26 elected representatives including the regional president, one from the disability wing and one from the fraternal organization, out of 28 general convention representatives, one has left the party.

In region number 2, there are 27 general convention representatives including 26 including the regional president and one from the public relations committee. Congress Gulmi Vice President Shiva KC said that there are currently 54 general convention representatives in both regions.
