Tasi Lhanjom, who was embroiled in controversy and prevented from becoming a minister after being recommended as a Gen-G representative, has been included in the list of proportional candidates of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) party.

Born in Limi, Humla, Tasi said that her name being included in the proportional list was the beginning of her formal political journey. She informed that before being included in the list, she had held various discussions with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and all the groups that joined the RSS after the latest understanding. She said that she sees being included in the proportional list as a big responsibility.

Climate change activist Tasi said that she understood her name being included in the list as a responsibility to change Humla, Karnali and the backward areas. She expressed her commitment to work while maintaining the spirit of the Gen-G movement and said, 'As this journey has begun, I have to prove myself politically as well. Now I have no option but to say 'I am learning'.' Stating that just having her name included in the list is a great achievement for the village of Limi where she was born, she said that she will work for the larger political interest.

Tasi has been running the 'Limi Unity Multipurpose Cooperatives Society' in her village with the local youth. She is working in eco-tourism through the cooperative. Some time ago, in an interview with Kantipur, she said that this is the best way to generate income for her village and that it would be great if tourism could be promoted through this. During this work, she also received a fellowship from Columbia University on topics related to green entrepreneurship.
