The pace of provincial governments has slowed down after the Gen-G protests of Bhadra 23 and 24. In the last three months, the regular work of the provincial government has not been moving at all.

After the protestors set fire to most of the physical structures and documents, including offices, on Bhadra 24, the provincial governments have not been able to return to normal.

Even the Council of Ministers' meetings have not been held regularly in all provinces. Due to the lack of physical communication, the provincial assembly meetings have also not been held regularly. The development expenditure of all provincial governments has been seen to be low after 5 months of the fiscal year.
