–After the landslides cleared in Hardiya of Bardiwas-Sindhulimadi section of BP highway, traffic has been started for 76 km to Khurkot. Khurkot-Nepalthok 34 km section near Kandhungri, one-way traffic is being operated.

Those who want to go to Kathmandu from the east side can travel from Khurkot by crossing Sunkoshi river via Ramechhap, Dolakha. In the Nepalthok-Dhulikhel section, like last year, the Roshi River has washed away most of the track road from Nepalthok. According to the locals, the track cannot be built again until the flood recedes.

According to the police, work is being done to remove the landslides that fell in Marin of Sindhulimadi-Hetounda section and Hakpara of Hariharpurgarhi Rural Municipality under the Madan Bhandari highway. After removing the landslides in these two places, it is possible to go to Kathmandu via Hetaunda.

Navraj Karki, who went to Kathmandu from Khurkot via Ramechhap-Dolakha, said that there was no option to use an alternative route. "Those who need to use an alternative road, other travelers travel after the rain subsides for a day or two," he said.

The president of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality, Deepa Bohora Dahal, informed that traffic has been partially operated after removing the landslides from Nepalthok to Khurkot and other places such as Kamerephant, Ritthevir.

On the other hand, the Khurkot-Ghurmi section (61 km) of Madhyapahari Pushpalal Highway has been blocked by landslides at more than a dozen places. Ravin Kumar Shrestha, ward president, informed that landslides have been cleared in Golanjor Rural Municipality-6 including Akkarebhir. According to him, in coordination with local levels, landslide removal is being done in other places by using machines.
