According to the Spokesperson of the Valley Traffic Police Office, Superintendent of Police Nareshraj Subedi, 71,129 passengers left Kathmandu in a period of 13 days from October 6th to this morning through 131,362 vehicles.
When people who came to Kathmandu for various professions and businesses return home to celebrate Dasain, the valley has become deserted. According to Subedi, 351 thousand 633 people entered Kathmandu through 86 thousand 880 vehicles during the same period.
11 thousand 955 people entered Kathmandu in only 2 thousand 496 vehicles from 6 am to 6 am today on October 17th, the traffic police said that the number is increasing.
