The police did not let them in and the protestors were in a mood to look at the door of the parliament and not return. And the push began. Water bottles were initially thrown at the police. Demonstrators had also reached gate number two to enter the parliament. A scuffle had already started between the officers and soldiers of the Nepal Police who were there.
The vandalism started around 12:30 at the main gate of Parliament. The youth tried to enter the gate after crossing the wall. Soon the police started firing tear gas. From 12.30 pm, the gate of the parliament building in Baneshwar turned into a battlefield, where the protestors tried to cross the wall and enter the parliament building and fired shots to stop the police. Protesters and journalists who were reporting were injured in the shooting. The chief district officer of Kathmandu issued an order to shoot below the knee, and the police shot hit the protester in the head and chest. When the protestors tried to scale the wall of the parliament building, the police fired from inside. Many protestors were killed in the process.

Nepali army entered Baneshwar after the curfew order was issued. Gen-G protesters stopped army vehicles on the road from Baneshwar to Thapagaon and in front of Everest Hospital. Protesting youths were lying down in front of the army vehicles. Due to which they could not enter the parliament building. Demonstrators were chanting slogans of 'Army come, save the country' in opposition to Prime Minister Oli. At the mouth of the road from Baneshwar to Shankhamul, blood was flowing. There were youths in blood-stained clothes on the sky bridge of Baneshwar.
The situation was brought under control only after the army moved in front of the parliament building after pushing back the protestors. The army then sent the protestors from New Baneshwar to Maitighar via Dijjibazar, Babarmahal. While moving from Babarmahal to Maitighar, the protestors pelted stones at the nearby government and private residences. They also pelted stones at some houses in Baneshwar.
The young people who had gathered at the maitighar in the early morning sun with the zeal of protesting against disorder and disorder arrived at the maitighar again when the sun was setting.
