On March 15, the royalists announced a 'decisive' demonstration in Kathmandu. Police deployment was increased in the main squares of Kathmandu since morning to control the demonstration. Dinesh Gautam : Around 3:30 p.m., a crowd started from Koteshwar towards Mahadevasthan Parisdanda. The protestors were going towards it saying that they would burn the Maoist office and Madhav Nepal's house. A Narcotics Bureau vehicle was vandalized and set on fire in Parisdanda. The protestors tried to enter the Maoist office but could not.
Krishna Prasad : When the stones started falling, we sat on the side to save our lives. We had installed the gate. Later many people came. Then he started hitting whatever he got. They broke the gate and entered and started looting.
DIG Acharya : Protesters pelted stones at Kantipur and Annapurna Media. Then he set fire to the vehicle of the Narcotics Bureau in Parisdanda. They also started looting at Bhatbhateni in Koteshwar. They set fire to the vehicle of the customs office complex in Sinamangal. Then vandalized the CCTV in front of the airport and set it on fire.
