The candidate of the National Independent Party has taken the lead in the chairmanship of ward number 16 of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. When 2 thousand 718 votes were counted, RSVP candidate Rozina Shrestha took the lead.

According to the office of the Election Commission, Shrestha, the candidate of RSVP, has taken the lead with 780 votes. Congress candidate Devendra Pathak is trailing RSVP with 598 votes. Here UML candidate Lakshmiratna Tuladhar is following at the third number with 527 votes. 

United Samajwadi has 234 votes and RPPA 221 votes.
