Maoist's Devaki Timilsina won the vice-chairmanship of Sarkegad Rural Municipality of Humla

Devaki Timilsina, the candidate of the Maoist Center, has won the post of vice president of Sarkegad Rural Municipality of Humla. She won by defeating Congress candidate Savita Budha by 43 votes.

Timilsina won with 1,636 votes. Budha got 1 thousand 593 votes. UML candidate Jana Shahi was in the third position.

In the local elections of 079, Chandra Singh Karki of Sarkegad won with 3 thousand 269 votes. After the death of Karki in a car accident last August, the by-election for the post of Sarkegad vice president was held on Sunday.
