One hundred and two year old Govind Lamichhane of Hetauda sub-metropolitan city-12 has voted in the local level by-election. He participated in the voting for the post of ward president today. He voted from the polling station of Bishnu Jyoti Basic School in Bhorle of the ward.
There is an enthusiastic turnout of voters in the polling program which started from 7 am. The election office has arranged two polling stations. Out of a total of 8,53 voters, 4,223 voters have voted by 1 pm. Voters are still queuing up to vote at polling stations.
1,843 votes were cast in the polling station at Vishnujyoti Basic School, polling officer Saroj Paudel informed that 2,380 votes were cast at the polling station at Pratibha Basic School in Sigreni of Chabhane Ward.
